I feel awful when mum's write to me saying they've spent 'x' on these "everything you need to start an online business" packages, because chances are they've wasted their money. Warning: Scams, Get Rich Quick and Cheap 'Small Business Web Hosting' These 'small business web deals' give you a domain name, webpage templates, hosting, fancy stuff you don't know how to use and a million email addresses ...but what do they actually DO for your BUSINESS? I find this really frustrating - and I've been there with 1&1 with my first online business! They are NOT everything that you need, far from it. They are everything you need to 'build' a site and get it on the internet...but then it just sits there because you don't know how to get traffic for free, or write content that both people and the search engines will love. However, there is one unique online business opportunity that 'does' give you everything you need...and it's the one that turned me into Web-Wahm!!  So, don't be tempted to spend... ...you don't need anything at the moment except...
P.S. Don't worry about the 'technology' aspect just yet - your first hurdle is to get an online business IDEA...
