Virtual Assistant Jobs

Virtual Assistant jobs come in all shapes and sizes depending on the needs of business owners. However, the type of 'services' you provide all depends on YOU; what you like to do and what you already know how to do.

Think about the types of things you know how to do and add those to your list of services on your website. You can also get some type of training and be able to add things to your list. Your clients may also be willing to train you on certain things that you can then add to your list of services as well. Your website is like an online CV - keep adding to it as you gain experience.

These are some of the most popular types of Virtual Assistant jobs...

Article Writing

Virtual Assistants can write articles for clients and then submit them to article directories or post them on their blog or website. Writing articles is something that business owners know they need, but they may not have the time to do it. This is a great service for VA’s to offer.

Blog Posts and Admin

Blogs are import in business. Not only to do they keep business owners in contact with their customers, but they also serve as a means of keeping their business in front of their readers. A Virtual Assistant can maintain a blog. VA’s can create blog posts and then either schedule them or post them to the blog.

Some people may not have a blog or they may want their blog spruced up a bit. VA’s can do this for people. Transferring a blog from Blogger to Word Press has become more popular as well. Transferring the blog and then adding a theme and widgets to it is something a VA can do.

Website Design and Editing

Website design and editing is something business owners either don’t know how to do or don’t have time to do. VA’s that offer this service are in high demand. Business owners like it when a VA has multiple skills. That way they don’t have to go look for another person. It makes it easier on them and they really like that. What package do YOU use to create your website...become a webmaster for that particular package and add it to your list of services.

Social Networks

Social networks and forum posting go together. Business owners know they need to do these things, but it’s not what makes them money. When they hire a Virtual Assistant to do it for them, they can focus on the duties that make them money. VA’s can spend a little time doing these things for themselves and familiarize themselves with the different websites and how to work them and they can offer this as a service.

Newsletters

Most business owners have a newsletter they send out each week or month. Virtual Assistants can take on this task. There are several programs for newsletter creation. It’s difficult to learn how to use these programs unless you pay to set up an account. You might check to see if they offer a trial period and then try it so you can get the experience from it.

These are just a few Virtual Assistant jobs you can do. When you are thinking of services you want to offer, think about what business owners need or want from a VA. Creating a survey is one way you can ask business owners what they need from a VA, or browse the job postings on freelance websites to see what 'employers' are looking for.
